Description of the role: We’re seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Business Advisory team. In this role you’ll be responsible for a team of people in the preparation and management of workflows, statutory compliance work, and tax advice.
What your day might look like:
- Preparation of management reports for clients under the direction of the Partners.
- Responsibility for workflow management and reviewing of files.
- Assistance with providing tax advice to clients.
- Planning of work production and allocation of jobs.
- Business development - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships.
- Lead and manage a portfolio of high-value business advisory clients.
- Contribute to the firm's leadership, culture, and strategic initiatives.
What makes you ‘just right’:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- 7+ years' experience within public practice accounting.
- Proven experience managing substantial client portfolios.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Leadership experience with a passion for developing high-performing teams.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering outstanding client outcomes.
- Strong systems knowledge - Xero, APS, MYOB, Quickbooks etc.
- Strong workflow management skills and solid technical tax knowledge.
