Job Description
Description of the role: We’re seeking an enthusiastic Junior Paraplanner to join our Wealth Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity build on your previous knowledge and experience to further develop your technical skills and build a long-term career within a progressive financial planning business.
What your day might look like:
In this role, you’ll work closely with Advisers, Senior Paraplanners, Client Service Officers, and Management to play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial advice documentation, strategy research, and implementation support.
Adviser Collaboration: Collaborate closely with advisers, contributing to strategy development
Document Preparation: Model scenarios and stress test strategies. Preparing and maintaining compliant SoA, RoA, and other financial planning documents.
Research: Researching client investments and insurance. Preparing relevant reports, including financial modelling, to ensure advice is prepared in accordance with standard policies.
Projects: Assistance with a variety of team projects throughout the year
Desired Skills and Experience
What makes you ‘just right’:
Degree Qualification in Financial Planning or Financial Services
Minimum 3+ years experience working in a Financial Planning firm-preferably in paraplanning
Current exposure to financial advice and plan construction
Strong technical skills across super, pensions, investments, gearing, SMSF exposure, and entity structures.
Deep understanding of financial planning legislation and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and time management skills
Curiosity, strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
Proficiency in Xplan: WealthSolver, Xtools+, modelling, and document generation.
Microsoft and Worksorted system experience favourable
