Job Description

Description of the role: We’re seeking an enthusiastic Advice Associate to join our Wealth Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your financial planning skills in a pre-professional year role; supporting Partners, Principals and Senior Advisors on high-net-worth clients.

 

What makes you ‘just right’: 

  • Degree Qualification in Financial Planning
  • 2+ years of experience working in Financial Planning
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience in preparing relevant supporting documentation
  • Ability to liaise with clients and ensure a positive experience
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude
  • Microsoft, Xplan and Worksorted system experience favourable

What your day might look like: 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing high quality service to clients and professional support to senior team members. This includes:

  • Managing Client Base: Manage new and review business processes and agreements for a portion of the client book
  • Research: Complete research tasks and prepare relevant reports and forms as required
  • Projects: Assistance with a variety of team projects throughout the year
  • General Administration: Preparing documentation and assisting in the daily management of client administration tasks.
  • Advice development: Longer term, the position will move into attending meetings and work alongside Advisers throughout the advice process to ensure an exceptional client experience.
