Job Description
About the Role:
Working closely with the Partners and Managers you will have responsibility for:
Preparation of BAS and IAS returns
Preparation of financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and associated entities
Preparation of tax returns
Tax planning
Acting as point of contact for a range of clients across industries
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
To be successful in this role you will possess the ability to manage a busy workload together with a strong client service focus. You will have the ability to demonstrate your proven accounting experience in providing advisory solutions for clients.
This will include:
Excellent attention to detail
An engaging and positive communication style – both from a team and client perspective
Demonstrated integrity with a professional outlook
A team focused attitude with a confident and friendly personality
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and identify and resolve problems effectively
Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously despite changing priorities and requirements
Current experience with accounting software packages i.e. Xero, QuickBooks Online, Reckon & MYOB
Current experience with APS Practice Manager and related software will be favourably regarded, however is not essential
Degree qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce
Completed CA program or equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience in a professional services firm
