Job Description

The Role 

We’re seeking a great ‘all-rounder’ to work in this supportive team environment, where you will be a valued team member of our Gold Coast office and William Buck Qld.  This is a role you can make into your own. 

To be successful in the role we’d be expecting you to demonstrate initiative, be proactive and a great communicator.  You’ll have interactions with clients, provide high quality administration support, and have the opportunity to broaden the scope of your responsibilities and contribute more broadly to the team’s success as you develop your capabilities in the role. 

Some of your core duties would be: 

  • Efficient and professional operation of reception and meeting rooms 

  • Preparing for office events/meetings including catering 

  • Greeting clients professionally at reception 

  • Answering, screening and forwarding of incoming phone calls  

  • Co-ordinate office orders and deliveries, including mail 

  • Maintaining office stock levels 

  • Document management, preparation of client letters and management of client files 

This is just the starting point as we do see the opportunity for this role to develop and expand over time, dependent on your skills, experience and capabilities demonstrated. 

Desired Skills and Experience

The Person 

To be considered for this position, ideally you will have the following skills, experience and attributes: 

  • High attention to detail, with good written and verbal communication skills 

  • experience in a professional services firm is desirable; experience within an accounting firm is highly regarded. 

  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook 

  • Able to demonstrate positive engagement and interaction with clients/customers 

  • team focused  with a confident and friendly personality 

  • A high level of integrity, responsibility and a professional outlook 

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, despite changing demands and requirements.... ‘roll-up your sleeves’ attitude

  • experience in a professional services firm is desirable; experience within an accounting firm is highly regarded.
