Job Description

The Role

As a valued member of the team, your focus will be on high quality customer service and supporting the financial planning team across a number of areas.

  • First point of contact for incoming client calls and establishing client rapport
  • Supporting the Practice Manager and Partner
  • Assisting the Practice Manager on adhoc tasks and projects
  • Managing diary for the team and confirming meetings for Advisers
  • Liaising with clients and other valued third-party providers
  • Preparing and following up clients’ Initial and Annual Agreements, Invoices and Compliance documents
  • In charge of daily mail and recording the inflow and outflow in a register
  • Completing regular compliance checking of all files
  • Providing housekeeping and general office duties
  • Fostering a warm and welcoming environment to ensure the clients’ experience is positive, comfortable and aligns with William Buck’s values

Desired Skills and Experience

The Person

The Ideal candidate would demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in financial planning roles
  • Current or past studies in financial planning favourable
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Responsibility, integrity and a professional outlook
  • A team focused attitude with a confident and friendly personality
  • Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously despite changing priorities and requirements
  • Good client services skills and the ability to own your and manage your role and workload
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook
