Job Description

The Role

As a valued member of the team, your focus will be on high quality customer service and supporting the Wealth Advisory team across several areas.

  • Support the Client Service Assistants with overflow for client administration, i.e. data entry, information updates with providers, client follow up.
  • Support Client Service Officers with overflow advice implementation requirements.
  • Assist with research of client’s financial circumstances i.e. salary packaging, superannuation policies, insurance policies, investment platforms
  • Work with accountants, solicitors, and brokers to obtain client documentation
  • Client New Business and Review Pack Preparation
  • Manage EOFY tax pack reports for internal and external accountants
  • Assist with Salary Packaging accounts
  • Assist with the management of Insurance premium dishonours and annual insurance premium reminders
  • Assist with daily mail and recording the inflow and outflow in a register
  • Completing regular compliance checking of all files
  • Providing housekeeping and general office duties
  • Assisting the Practice Manager on adhoc tasks and projects

The Person

The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Currently studying a Financial Planning or Finance/Commerce Degree would be favourable
  • Previous experience working in financial planning roles would be favourable
  • Eager to learn and able to take direction
  • A team focused attitude with a confident and friendly personality
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and polished presentation
  • Time Management and Organisational skills
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office suite
